WineFolio

Overview

WineFolio is currently designed as a local-first wine journal app. In the current public v1.0 release, WineFolio is designed to work without a mandatory account, without public cloud sync, and without advertising, tracking, or analytics.

Data stored locally

WineFolio stores wine entries, tasting notes, cellar and wishlist information, ratings, prices, images, and other wine-related information that you choose to enter. This information is primarily stored locally on your device.

No account required for v1.0

The current public release does not require login or account creation. You can use WineFolio locally on your device without a mandatory account.

No advertising or third-party tracking

WineFolio does not sell personal data. WineFolio does not use your data for advertising and does not include third-party advertising or third-party tracking in the current public release.

No analytics in the public release

The public v1.0 release does not use analytics services to collect usage behavior from your app activity.

Optional future cloud or backend features

Future versions may introduce optional sync, account, or backend features. If these features are introduced, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or alongside those changes so you can review what is new.

iCloud and device backup note

Depending on your Apple device settings, app data may be included in device backups, including iCloud backups. Backup behavior is controlled by your Apple account and device backup preferences.

User control and deletion

You can manage and delete your entries inside the app. You can also remove app data by deleting WineFolio from your device.

Children's privacy

WineFolio is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us so we can help address the request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect product, technical, or legal changes. The updated version will always include a revised "Last updated" date.
